An opportunity has arisen for committed individuals to apply for an Occupational Therapist role in Social Care in Enfield. Registered with the HCPC, you will hold a professional OT qualification, as well as being a good communicator both written and verbal. We are looking for Occupational Therapists who want to work in a dynamic and team orientated environment. Enfield Council provides flexibility and choice about the team you can work with whilst taking consideration to match your skills to service demands. Enfield Council is able to offer rotational opportunities to Occupational Therapists to gain experiences across different services such as Enablement, Single point of Access, Long Term Complex work, OT paediatrics or Discharge to Assess Services. You would have the opportunity to work with service users who present with a variety of conditions and as part of your daily work you would use a strength based approach to work with Enfield’s residents to regain or retain their independence in daily living activities in order to remain in their own home for as long as possible.

Salary is £34,794 - £40,728 pa

Enfield OT offers comprehensive learning/access to training, a supportive management team, regular staff supervision and a personal development plan.

  • Occupational Therapists have tablets that can be used as a tool for direct work with clients while out in the community
  • Teams are led by supportive and accessible managers

  • Induction includes meetings with the Director and other senior managers
  • Occupational Therapists can progress within services to Senior Practitioners
  • Training that is responsive to practice needs
  • Working from home is available depending on the service needs

This is a full-time post. However, part time hours may be considered depending on the individual service needs
