We need someone like you to join the team at Richford Gate Medical Practice. Here, you’ll work with people with mental health issues accessing the Employment, Recovery and Wellbeing Service in Hammersmith on a 1-2-1 basis to develop a sense of independence, purpose and fulfilment and gain the skills they need to return to work or training.  This will involve providing community based groups/sessions and promoting access to a range of activities within the wider community.

A great listener, with a flexible approach and a flair for planning and prioritising a busy workload, you love motivating and engaging people in a range of developmental and rehabilitative activities. What’s more, you have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people. Experience of identifying and coordinating a range of services to meet an individual’s needs and to enable them to engage with community activities is also essential.

As well as having an understanding of mental illness, we’ll be looking for the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work well within a team. You ‘ll also need the communication skills it takes to and motivate and inspire others and liaise effectively with a wide range of organisations and individuals. Proficient using office IT and willing to work some weekends and evenings would also be an advantage. And, if you have experience of running Workshops session, even better, although this is not essential, as training will be provided.

Subsequent salary progression up to a maximum of £20,480.00 per annum will apply to this post, subject to the postholder meeting the eligibility and performance criteria.
