Waltham Forest is looking for a dynamic and committed professional with a background in supporting adolescents, who has the skills to engage with young people, supporting them and their families to reduce behaviour that can put them at risk such as; going missing, being excluded from education, involved in anti-social and criminal activity, being affiliated to a gang, which can put them at risk of being criminally and sexually exploited.
The role will also act as the champion for contextual safeguarding, working within a contextual safeguarding framework, the focus will be on engaging with young people, their families and the professional network to put plans and interventions in place to reduce the risks posed to the young people and work to secure they have better outcomes to enhance their life chances.
To join us, you will need to passionate about providing a high quality Early Help services to young people and their families, have an advanced understanding about contextual safeguarding and measures to tackle it, and be committed to ensuring that work is undertaken in partnership with key agencies to make young people safe.
