Business Planning Officer (Adult Social Care)

An opportunity has arisen to work within the Adult's social Care service supporting the Localities and service departments in ensuring timely and consistent records are maintained for both business and financial transactions.
This role will be working closely with the Business Planning manager and Localities Managers, keeping them informed of process, system or performance issues and take responsibility for recommending options for resolving them as appropriate.
The role will respond to and resolve service requests and queries within the agreed service standard and according to operational procedures, and work collaboratively on projects that support developments / improvements for the People Directorate in a professional and positive way and supporting the transformation agenda.
Embed customer service excellence, demonstrating a commitment to delivering a customer focused service across the directorate, and develop and maintain the accounting and business records necessary to comply with business need and legislative requirements. (ensure care First or any service or accounting system is up to date).
There is a need for good communication skills to work with colleagues at all levels to identify solutions to business issues being addressed by the People Directorate. A need to work closely with systems team to ensure developments and improvements are embedded as part of business processes and with the service to ensure records and data is maintained up to date.
