Are you an experienced Project Manager ?
If you are a project manager with business analysis skills, excellent communication skills and ideally previous experience of IT system implementation, then this is an ideal career development opportunity.
Fixed term for: 12 months
For an informal discussion, please contact Mo Lawless, Housing System Implementation Project Manager on 01273 295975.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help us undertake a review of our IDOX electronic document management system.
Your first task will be to analyse the use of the system across Housing Services, considering the impact of GDPR and how the system will interact with our new Housing Management system. You will then make a recommendation on how we can improve the use of the system and help us to implement the agreed solution.
You will be based at the Moulsecoomb Housing Centre, but will be required to work from different locations across the City.
You’ll be initially working with colleagues across our housing teams to ensure that all their system requirements are considered as part of this project, but then the role will expand to cover other areas of the Neighbourhoods, Communities and Housing Directorate.
Interviews w/c 2nd September 2019
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
As part of Brighton & Hove City Council's ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process, without prior notice if a suitable redeployee (internal employee at risk of redundancy) is identified.
