Queen’s Manor Primary School is a friendly, one form entry primary school with an integrated unit for children with learning difficulties. Term time only-39 weeks per year, September 2019 start
5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm)
Salary: Scale 5 Scp 12 to 15(£25,833 to £27,255 pro-rata)
We are looking to recruit an administrative officer who has a positive outlook and is reliable and ready to take on the challenge of a busy school office. As a public face of the school you will be expected to maintain the ethos and confidentiality of aspects of your role including your dealings with the school community and visitors. The successful candidate will be experienced in administration and customer service and be a strong performer and able to multi-task with confidence. You will be working alongside our School Business Manager and Admininistrative Assistant and assisting them in managing the day to day running of the school office in addition to supporting school staff with administrative tasks.
Applicants will require:
- Excellent administration and customer service skills
- Evidence of IT skills inclusive of Microsoft products such as word, Excel, publisher and outlook. A knowledge of SIMs would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Evidence of working as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Experience of cash handling
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
