We have an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic Office Manager for one of our busy Children’s Centres. You will support the management of all the administrative and financial functions for one of our Early Years multi-agency Locality Teams. The role includes supporting the Early Years Locality Leader, supporting partnership activity within the Children’s Centre locality area and undertaking project coordination of key programmes. You will be running a busy locality office and administrative service, supporting staff on site and at other venues. The role plays a key role in the purchasing cycle, and the line management of administrative staff. We are looking for an individual who is able to use their initiative and consistently plan, review, audit, update and complete financial and administrative workloads
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (to include Maths and English), have an NVQ3 in Administration (or working towards qualification) or equivalent. You should be able to demonstrate that you have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as knowledge of database management (such as EISI, SystemOne, MOSAIC, I-case and other nursery software. You will have the ability to work under pressure and achieve results within tight deadlines.. You’ll have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to express issues in a clear and appropriate manner. You will have experience of managing staff and of budget and financial administration.
