We are looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Children in Care Team. These roles would be suitable for Social Workers who are 2 years post qualified. The Children in Care team undertake key work responsibilities for children. They Assess, advise and support children and families in need, alongside Health, Education and Targeted Family Support colleagues.
Special Requirements for this Post
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including a Disclosure check. You will have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and hold a recognised Social Work qualification and a current HCPC registration.
You will have experience in Children in Care and will be able to assess and provide services to children and families in need with the framework of relevant law, legislation and national and local guidance. You will be undertaking high quality, analytical single assessments with statutory timescales, which are reflective of presenting concerns and are responsive to identified unmet needs.
