The Lettings team is responsible for carrying out pre-void telephone interviews with tenants intending to vacate. To ensure as much property detail is obtained for the re allocation of the properties and to determine the condition to ensure all void properties are in an acceptable condition and let as quickly as possible. We liaise with local authority allocation teams to find suitable new tenants for empty properties.
As our Lettings Assistant you will be providing Housing Options advice and support to tenants wanting to move. You will be providing administrative and functional support to the regional lettings team and tenants. You will be required to complete the end of tenancy and re-let process within required deadlines including the preparation of relevant paperwork.
The role requires you to participate with project work such as annual re-registration of all transfer tenants and being able to carry out administration in support of senior management team meetings.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a customer facing role and have administrative experience. You must have a good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, if you have worked or have knowledge of the social housing sector that would be preferable.
