We are seeking to recruit an Advanced Social Work Practitioner (with 3 years post qualifying experience) in the Looked After Children service based at Triangle House in Palmers Green. The post holder will hold some of the most complex cases in the service and support less experienced staff to develop their skills. Advanced Social Work Practitioners in the service help manage the busy duty system and need the confidence and knowledge to give advice on appropriate casework issues.
The successful applicant will have significant experience in working with Looked After Children from 0-16 years including complex care proceedings, permanency planning and service user involvement. Experience in early care planning and placing children in the full range of legal permanence options is crucial.
