We are currently looking to recruit a Visiting Officer to manage our income collection and be able to help assist our residents who may find themselves in financial difficulties.
You will be visiting and working with residents to recover outstanding monies and representing us in court at possession hearings and at evictions where it is required. This role will be looking at supporting and providing assistance to residents on all matters relating to benefit and debt issues. You will be an excellent communicator and able to build strong working relationships with external stakeholders who can range from County Courts and Local Authorities.
You will work as part of the income team to ensure individual and team targets are met and KPI's are achieved.
To be successful, you will have previous experience of debt recovery/credit control and have experience of delivering an outstanding customer experience. It is desirable that you have some knowledge of housing law in debt recovery and presenting cases in the county court. You will also have working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
