It's an exciting time for the People and Organisational Development Team as we seek to expand our service. We are looking for a trainee to be part of an efficient and motivated team.
We provide corporate learning and development interventions e.g. induction, leadership, change management, personal development etc. We manage the council's learning management system (eLearn platform) and implement cross council projects.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in administration who is passionate about providing an excellent service to our staff - this will include taking calls and responding to emails so the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and customer service experience would be a bonus. The post holder will need to be organised and able to prioritise their workload.
We are looking for a trainee:
* to support the POD Team to provide a responsive learning and development programme to council staff
* to provide excellent customer service to staff across the Council when helping to resolve related queries e.g. eLearn and corporate learning programme
* to be a key member of the POD team to provide basic administrative support on projects such as new ways of working, digital skills development, values and behaviours and the apprenticeship levy.
