Service Charge Officer (Home Ownership)
GRADE 6 Salary £39,276-£42,771 per annum
6 Months Fixed Term
At London Borough of Havering's Home Ownership team we are working to improve the service and compliance of leasehold management. We are a large team that manages leasehold compliance, sales and marketing, Right to Buy, income recovery and service charge billing and consultation. We have a varied portfolio of properties across the borough with a growth in new build properties. We are working to increase efficiencies and transparency for our homeowners.
About the Job
This role plays a key part in leasehold compliance to help the organisation deliver a high quality and accurate service charges to our homeowners. This role is key to service charge compliance. You will be required to use your initiative, manage a process data and meet statutory deadlines.
About the You
Are you confident with spreadsheets? Are you good at managing data? Are you hard-working? Are you organised and self-motivated? Are you a team-player? Are you interested in learning about leasehold management?
Your strong Microsoft Excel skills will be essential to your success in your ability to work as part of the team. Your ability to generate and analyse will allow us to improve our services and reporting. Your passion for excellent customer service will help to drive the service improvements that we are working on. Your initiative and ability to prioritise tasks will support the team's efficiencies in meeting deadlines.
You must have:
A good level of written and spoken communication skills for record keeping, emails and telephone conversations must be demonstrated through GCSE or NVQ levels.
A good level of numeracy to be confident with calculations and updating spreadsheets must be demonstrated through GCSE or NVQ levels.
