About us
Camden isn’t just a borough—it’s a place of energy, diversity, and constant evolution. Our buildings and spaces are central to our community’s wellbeing and to our vision of creating a borough where everyone can thrive. As our Head of Property, you’ll shape the future of Camden’s commercial and corporate estate, driving innovation, sustainability, and value across one of London’s most dynamic property portfolios.

The role
As Head of Property, you’ll lead the strategic direction, performance and delivery of Camden’s corporate and commercial assets. You’ll oversee the management of our tenanted and operational property portfolio, acquisitions, disposals, and development projects, ensuring that every decision contributes to our long-term goals and community outcomes.

You’ll lead a talented team of property professionals, driving best practice across asset management, valuation, capital investment, and compliance. Your work will ensure our estate remains financially sustainable, high-performing, and aligned with Camden’s wider corporate and social ambitions.

In this senior leadership role, you’ll also play a key part in Camden’s New Homes Sales programme, delivering substantial receipts over the next decade, while identifying opportunities for reinvestment and growth. You’ll oversee property disposals, acquisitions, and investment planning, ensuring that every asset contributes to a more inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable borough.

About you
You’re an experienced property leader with a strategic mindset and a track record of delivering results across a complex portfolio. You’ll bring deep technical expertise and the ability to translate policy and data into clear, actionable plans that deliver value and impact.

You’ll have:

  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) — essential for this role.
  • A strong background in asset management, valuation, and capital investment planning.
  • Experience leading large-scale property programmes, including acquisitions and disposals.
  • A proven ability to balance commercial performance with community benefit.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging confidently with developers, investors, local businesses, and public partners.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-pound budgets.
  • The ability to inspire and lead diverse teams in a dynamic, high-performing environment.

You’ll thrive in Camden’s culture of collaboration, innovation, and ambition—where we challenge the status quo and seek creative solutions to complex challenges.
