Part time Case Officer - Assessment and Placement Team
Children and Adults with Disability Service
£34,113 - £38,040 pro rata 18 hours per week

As a Case Officer you will join the team at an exciting time to support the work of the service in developing the EHC plans.
We work in integrated teams with Case Officers, Educational Psychologists, Social Workers and Business Support Team.
We are a statutory service and pride ourselves in striving to issue all of our EHC plans within timescale. An essential part of your work will be to lead on the process in a timely manner to meet timescales and to ensure there are positive outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
You will work closely with Parents/Carers, children and young people and our partners arranging and chairing multi-agency meetings most in a person centred approach and drafting EHC plans. You will present cases to the Education, Health and Care Panel for decisions.
You will receive training on processes and procedures including impulse and CCM recording systems.
Case Officer you will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
You will be able to chair complex meetings with tact and skill to ensure best aspirational outcomes for young people and families.
You will be able to work to statutory guidelines and deliver within timeframes required and you will also have a Face to Face ethos that is person centred to the EHC assessment process.
