Community Safety Intelligence Officer

The post provides a vital role supporting the Community Safety agenda and providing data and analysis to help support and facilitate partnership working across a range of strategic boards. The post holder will have access to a range of restricted data systems including police datasets which are used to obtain, analyse and regularly report on performance. They will use information obtained via central government and local agencies; and in co-ordination with the police intelligence and analytical services, process ‘raw’ quantitative information to support the data exchange between police, council and other agencies.  We are looking for an individual who wants to work with our partners to improve community safety in Enfield.  You need to have excellent technical skills including Power BI, Power pivots, excel and SQL skills. You need excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The postholder will lead on the development and preparation of specialist reports analysing key crime and disorder trends and issues across Enfield for use within cross partnership meetings to enable informed decisions to be made in terms of resources and tactical prioritisation.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with analytical skills and experience in reporting on data from a range of IT systems. You should possess excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.  Knowledge, understanding and relevant experience of the Community Safety agenda is desirable.
