About the Team:

This new team will play a key role in achieving our goal of becoming a net zero borough by 2030. They will be responsible for collaborating with our energy supplier to install smart meters across our traditionally metered stock.

Aligned with the Council’s sociable, creative, and strong work ethic, the team will foster a supportive atmosphere where everyone works together towards shared project targets.

About the Role:

This role requires you to work closely with the project manager and energy supplier to ensure access to meter locations. You will travel across the Borough to various sites, address access challenges, and implement solutions. Effective communication with residents via letters and phone calls to secure access and inform them of any supply interruptions will be essential. Additionally, you will be pivotal in identifying, reporting, and coordinating necessary remedial works at sites to guarantee successful meter installations.

Your contributions as a Field Operative will be vital to the success of the smart meter installation project, and your commitment and teamwork will be key to achieving our goals.
