Learning & Development Officer
Grade 6:- £36,567 - £39,951pro rata (dependent on experience) 18 hrs per week- 12 Month Fixed Term/ Secondment Opportunity
About the role
The Learning and Development Officer delivers, develops and evaluates our multi-agency safeguarding training for those working or volunteering with adults or children in our borough.
You will deliver a minimum of 30 days training per year; this will require the candidate to hold detailed knowledge and skill in a diverse range of specialist disciplines to ensure that training can be delivered to staff at all levels across Partnerships.
The successful candidate will build upon the local network of approved trainers/training suppliers, and maintain a system of quality assurance when engaging training consultants with trainer contracts and Assurance measures.
The candidate will support working groups in place to progress Partnership priorities by promoting activities and co-ordinating events.
About You
- Along with experience of safeguarding adults and or children work, you should have experience of developing and delivering training and an understanding of contemporary safeguarding issues in the UK;
- You will have Financial/Resources responsibility for: Safeguarding training budgets;
- You will have good written and verbal presentation skills which will be tested during the interview;
