About Camden
Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. The twin impacts of the housing crisis and more recently the cost-of-living crisis is pushing more and more of our communities into financial distress and to debt and we are tackling this problem head on with our new Money Advice Service.
How You’ll Be Involved
As a dedicated support coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that residents in hardship can access emergency financial support through our Cost of Living and Household Support funds. You'll work to agreed targets, streamlining your approach to get help to those who need it quickly.
You'll be adaptable in your approach and with excellent communication skills to meet the unique needs of each resident, making it easy for them to access our service. You'll follow established guidelines to ensure fair and consistent award decisions, while accurately inputting data and completing reporting tasks within tight deadlines.
You'll use your expertise to connect residents with the right services, referring them to Plinth and advice colleagues as needed. You'll also identify and escalate any risks or safeguarding concerns, ensuring we're always prioritizing resident safety and well-being. You'll join our community outreach events, representing our service and helping residents access our life-changing support. You'll be part of our ongoing training and development program, building your skills to assist with more complex tasks.
