About the Team:
The role involves managing proactive and reactive repairs within a geographical area within the borough. The Team manages a range of works from emergency repairs, routine repairs, through to planned works. We work in collaboration with various teams within the council as well as a number of external stakeholders to provide a comprehensive repairs service.
About the Role:
The role will ideally suit an individual who thrives on variety, and you must have experience in a similar role in a local authority within the repair’s environment of at least five years. You should have good knowledge of structures, high- rise buildings, low rise domestic buildings and experience in diagnosing defects, drafting reports, and applying remedies.
Report writing skills and presenting to senior management and cabinet members will be key, together with an understanding of the Local Authority environment. You will be experienced in all aspects of Landlord and Tenant work and have solid understanding of H&S legislation.
