Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with diverse abilities? Do you enjoy being on the move and interacting with people? We are seeking a dedicated Lunch Club Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our team at The London Borough of Redbridge.
You will assist with the Luncheon Clubs and Day Opportunities in several venues across the borough providing a range of meals, refreshment’s and activities in a community setting.
Cooking fresh meals and/or regenerating/heating meals at a designated kitchen and assisting with placing orders.
To undertake delivering meals to Lunch Clubs and Day Opportunities as required. Car Driver with a full clean driving licence for the delivery of meals to Lunch Clubs and Day Opportunities, with insurance for business cover and have access to and the use of a suitable vehicle.
To serve meals and refreshments in a Lunch Club and support people with an understanding of meeting dietary and cultural needs. Central to this is delivery of, effective, efficient and value for money services.
To assist, develop, implement and monitor activities within the Lunch Clubs, including social, recreational, therapeutic and educational activities.
This is a part time, permanent post (18 hours). Typical daily hours will be between 10am and 2pm, however, times may occasionally vary in accordance with service delivery.
