Operational Director - Housing

We are looking for an exceptional Housing Services professional to join us in the role of Operational Director of Housing Services to help shape our service for the future. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will be lead on developing our Housing service to meet our ambition of becoming a leading Local Authority not just in London but across the country. Our Corporate strategy further outlines our ambitions for Redbridge.

Ensuring our Housing Needs service is fit for purpose you will deliver improved outcomes for local people and especially for vulnerable people. You will also be responsible for Housing strategies, including Homelessness, Tenancy and Temporary Accommodation.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate a substantial track record in:

• Leadership of housing within a complex and diverse community
• Developing and delivering strategies that lead to demonstrable improvements in outcomes
• Establishing a strong performance culture
• Successful partnership working within complex and changing environments
