Stop Tobacco Programme Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the national movement in reducing tobacco related inequalities.
As a programme manager, you will join a dynamic stop tobacco team in providing services for diverse Brent communities.
You will oversee multiple projects and lead on a range novel initiatives that are key in achieving the Government Smokefree ambitions. This will include liaising with key stakeholders such as the NHS, CVS and communities in tailoring novel stop smoking programmes that are culturally appropriate and appealing to underserved tobacco users in Brent.
We are hoping to add a solutions focused health professional to our growing public health team. An understanding of tobacco use as situated within wider political contexts and determinants of health is central to this role.
If you:
- Have rich experience of managing or leading on projects designed to improve quality of life and well-being through lifestyle change.
- Have good communication skills, able to produce and present verbal and written reports to audiences with varying levels of seniority.
- Are able to prioritise workload according to changing political agendas
- Are proficient in using IT packages such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Are passionate about reducing health and social inequalities caused by tobacco use
