EYFS/KS1 Cover Supervisor 

Hours: 28.75 hours per week (8.30-12.00pm, 1.15-3.30pm) 39 weeks per year

Grade: Scale 4 Point 7-10 (depending on experience)

Salary: £19,113 - £19,994 p.a. actual salary for above hours 

Contract: 1 year fixed term contract September 2024 until July 2025

Start Date:  September 2024

 

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant and supportive primary school community. Are you looking to take the next step in your career and make a real difference in the lives of young learners?

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience of working with Reception and KS1 children. A NVQ2 qualification or above is desirable, but not essential.

About the Role:

  • Provide temporary cover for teachers during absences or PPA, ensuring a smooth learning environment.
  • Support children's social and emotional development.
  • Foster a love of learning through positive reinforcement.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
  • Work across the EYFS and KS1, making a positive impact on a variety of young learners.
