Mockingbird Liaison Worker

There is an exciting and new opportunity arisen in the Redbridge Fostering Team for a Mockingbird Liaison Worker.
Redbridge is part of the Recruitment and Retention Mockingbird DFE pilot, and the post is part of the essential support to the Mockingbird programme.
You will operate as the key liaison worker between the Mockingbird hub home foster carer and the fostering service; offering consistent and high-quality support to the Mockingbird hub home carer to enable them to lead and give guidance and support to the satellite foster carers and children in care, which make up their constellation.
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
- Strong people skills and the ability to communicate well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Experience of working with children, young people and their families.
- Excellent writing skills and confident presenting to groups of people.
- Committed to achieving positive outcomes for children.
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- The ability to work independently but equally thrives within a team environment.
- Energetic, sociable and creative.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, travel and work evenings and weekends when required.
