The role – Fire Equipment Inspector
As Fire Equipment Inspector you will complete Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Testing and Fire, Health, and Safety checks around residential and commercial properties, in and around London and the surrounding areas ensuring they are full functional and compliant. You will be integral to ensuring

You will
- You will test the function of fire equipment such as fire alarms, emergency lights and automatic ventilation systems, with training provided by a competent person to provide ensure testing is carried out diligently
- You will inspect fire doors within Residential homes and corridor doors ensuring
- Provide informal advice to our Residents, fire officers and maintenance surveyors to ensure opportunities to improve fire safety
- Produce concise reports as required for properties ensuring identified actions are completed through follow up post inspections.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Good IT skills (e-mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel) and good understanding of Microsoft office applications to complete test findings
- Able to prioritise, plan and manage own workload and projects to meet conflicting work demands and deadlines.
- Excellent observational skills and to be able to pay attention to detail
- You’ll have effective internal and external stakeholder management skills and have demonstrable ability to accurately review, collate and record a variety of data for meaningful analysis
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work desirable
