This is an exciting time to be joining Digital and Data Services at Camden, and this is a Product Manager role within our newly formed Digital Products and Services team.
The role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and reporting to the Lead Product Manager, the role of the Product Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of CRM and data products and services. In this role, you will be expected to use your knowledge of user needs and understanding of goals to frame problems, set priorities to build great products and services, and influence others to do the same.
You will work closely with delivery managers, user researchers, designers, and developers to create and update products and services across Camden. You will work with analysts and researchers to thoroughly understand your users and will always champion and prioritise their needs.
You will undertake all duties with due regard to the provisions of health and safety regulations and legislation, Data Protection/GDPR, the Council’s Equal Opportunities and Customer Care policies.
About You
You will be an integral part of the product management team, helping to clarify objectives and outcomes for our product development work, actively prioritising, and focusing on what needs to be done to address our citizens’ needs.
As a Product Manager in Camden, you will demonstrate a working understanding of design, technology, and data principles and standards, and understand the range of available technology choices available across Camden.
You will know about the tools, terms and concepts used to deliver a product and understand how to apply these in different situations.
You will understand how the needs of the Camden team and the product vary across the stages of the product life cycle and for different communities and types of user.
