The Camden Event Service sits within the newly created Culture Service which brings together the existing arts and events team. The service is responsible for event management of community festivals and civic events, including licencing, health and safety, managing the film office and generating income through venue hire, outdoor spaces and public realm activations.

How You’ll Be Involved

As our Event’s Operations Officer we're looking for someone to bring their expertise to our diverse range of clients and partners, from Council to Community to Corporate. You’ll be working alongside our Events Team, managing everything from production requirements to transportation logistics. From overseeing inventory and maintaining event gear to ensuring venues are spick and span, you'll be the ultimate multitasking maestro. With opportunities to work in a variety of venues, including indoor spaces, parks, and unconventional spots, every day promises something new and exciting.

All About You

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational, logistics, and management skills, with a keen eye for detail. They must thrive under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines with a cool demeanour. Previous experience in manual lifting, health and safety protocols, and event setup and derig logistics is essential. A comprehensive understanding of security issues across Council venues and additional event locations is crucial, including familiarity with alarm protocols and building access procedures. You should have or be working towards Health and Safety qualifications like IOSH and First Aid. A clean driving license and driving ability are desirable assets for this role.
