Pastoral Support Apprentice

Required for September 2024

 

Fixed term contract for 18 months

36 hours per week with 6 hours dedicated to study time

Term Time only + 3 weeks during school closure, 36 hours per week

 

Salary details: London Living Wage £13.15 per hour

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic Pastoral Support Apprentice to join our thriving support staff & administration team. The primary role will be to provide administrative support to the pastoral team. They will gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as they complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship

 

They will work closely with the pastoral team and other colleagues, supporting and challenging students to be the best they can be; helping them to stay safe, be happy and focussed on their learning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain excellent career experience and be part of a welcoming team that strive to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for students and staff alike.

 

This is a great opportunity for individuals who will benefit from building confidence in education administration and project management; as well as learning skills for troubleshooting, customer service, policies and processes

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

 

  • To have the right to work in the UK
  • To have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
  • At least a grade of 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • To have not previously studied the course content
  • To not undertake any other qualification during your apprenticeship
  • To be able to apply your learning to your role
