Sociology is an important and popular subject at KS4, and is introduced at KS3 through a carousel to support the options process. Our students consistently achieve in this subject area and it has been established within our curriculum for a long time. We believe that this subject develops learners' ability to think sociologically in relation to their experience of the world around them so that they are able to play a positive, active and informed role in society, which matches our vision and values as a school
