Redbridge Council seeks to enhance it’s End User Computing (EUC) team, aiming to elevate the quality of service offered to our internal base of 3,000 customers. We are in search of an adept EUC Engineer with substantial technical expertise, driven to expand their specialized understanding within a Microsoft-centric environment, coupled with a dedicated commitment to superior customer service. As an integral part of our expansive support team, this role entails shared accountability in ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our valued customers.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced End User Computing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience with a range of technologies, particularly focusing on Windows environments, Active Directory, endpoint management tools, and various productivity applications.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency and demonstrable experience with:
- Windows 10 and Windows 11 maintenance, deployment, and updates.
- Active Directory management and group policies.
- Endpoint management tools such as Intune and SCCM.
- Office 365 administration and Microsoft Office 2016 suite.
- Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.
- Imaging laptops, device profiling, and PC hardware knowledge.
- Android smartphone security and support.
- Virtualization technologies like AVD
- Prior experience in an IT Service Desk environment with a structured IT Service Management System for incident logging and management, adhering to ITIL standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft certifications, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach.
