About the Team:
You will be working within the Parking & Network Management Service Development team who are championing the customer experience for our residents, visitors, and businesses. We use industry-leading systems and innovative technology to keep our streets safe, enforce against anti-social behaviour and to provide a range of parking options for people who need access to kerbside space.
We embrace flexible working, and we have a track record for developing staff; enabling them to move into higher-graded posts. Almost 50% of the team are on a higher grade than when they joined the service.

About the Role:
The post holder will use their strong leadership skills to manage a team of Service Improvement Officers and 1 train and an assistant. The ideal candidate will be an experienced people manager with a strong background in delivering service improvements whilst working in a project environment. You must be passionate about making a positive difference for our citizens and can lead and inspire others to do the same.
The service improvement officers you will manage provide support to many innovative and varied projects designed to improve our service area. They also respond to complaints and member enquiries, addressing their root causes. You will be coaching, developing and supporting these officers to consistently deliver high quality work
To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence:
Experience of managing or leading a team
A history of challenging service delivery from a customer perspective
Previous experience identifying opportunities to streamline processes and maximise income opportunities.
A strong customer service focus
High standards and an eye for detail
