About the role

You will oversee the compliance, safeguarding, quality and training for the All-Age Passenger Transport service, who provide transport for children, young people and adults with additional needs and disabilities, working in partnership with many stakeholders dedicated to delivering a high-quality customer centred provision.

We are looking for an experienced Manager with transferable skills who will work closely with the Operations Manager and provide comprehensive compliance and training processes and systems for the team and delivery of the service.

You will lead the review and implementation of all processes, procedures, risk assessments, forms and technology, to ensure that the service standards, Council policy, guidance and statutory duties are met at all times.

You will be responsible for ensuring our providers meet the required contractual standards and work with them to improve quality and standards for all passengers.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the section provides safe, quality transport to all passengers.  This role will need to manage an efficient and effective service whilst ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and risk management is a priority.

About you

You will have an eye for detail, robust compliance and contract management, with a flair for logistical and commercial efficiency.  You will be passionate about continuous service development, ensuring that our passengers and their families have a great customer experience.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of managing a diverse team, demonstrate great interpersonal skills in dealing effectively with customers and contractors, with direct experience of negotiating with service providers or similar.
