To assist in the provision of a comprehensive project management support service as part of the Capital Delivery Team. The role includes data management responsibilities, making full use of IT systems, acting as the 'hub' for project information, providing support to workstream leads and working to fulfil the governance and reporting requirements.
You will be responsible for a wide variety of project related activities at project support level. This will include supporting project meetings; compilation of project management reports; helping the team to track and report on progress within a range of project workstreams.
You will also be responsible for managing and updating relevant project and workstream management tools, risk management software. You will manage the day-to-day administration of the project budget including raising of purchase orders, issues request for quotations (RFQ), updating the budget tracker, and supporting the Project Managers to enable medium term budget forecasts to be kept up to date.
You will have experience of working on a major capital project, and keeping accurate records to ensure compliance with procedures, as well as the ability to organise information and produce accurate information on an ongoing basis.
You will have excellent and effective communication skills, including meeting customers and clients; dealing with queries; the ability to respond in writing and verbally, both face to face and whilst using a telephone/email.
You will have experience of using computer systems such as spreadsheets and databases and producing work for senior level stakeholders/managers.
