Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

About us

You would be joining an ambitious and caring Housing Needs service that strives to put our residents at the heart of everything we do. Your professionalism and confidence will enable you to successfully work with all stakeholders to ensure accommodation opportunities are maximised and properties prioritised according to need. Employing a flexible, problem solving mentality means you will respond effectively to changing circumstances and overcome varied challenges. You will also be able to provide high quality technical guidance to housing teams to ensure assessments and decisions can withstand scrutiny.

Benefits include:

  • 26 days annual leave with the option to also buy additional leave if required.
  • Excellent Training and Development.
  • Recruitment and Retention payment of £3000.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (with a focus on wellbeing).
