This is an exciting role, in a newly formed and developing Parking Services, Strategy and Contracts Team. You will be responsible for making for producing clear and robust financial forecasting. You will have excellent analysis and problem solving skills

About the role

You will be managing a team of Multidisciplined Officers. You will have direct line Management of 1 Data & Performance Team Leader, with 3 Performance Analysts, 2 Data and Performance Officers and 1 Data Technician Apprentice reporting to the Team Leader.

You will work closely with the Parking Strategy and Contracts Manager to ensure the service is provided with key performance insights and financial modelling.

Parking Strategy and Contracts Team is an essential function to delivering a customer focused, modern Parking Service that continuously improves with a focus on meeting the Carbon Neutrality 2030 objective for the service. The Team supports the wider Parking Service functions by providing key insights into performance analysis both externally and internally. You will be responsible for the effective financial modelling and forecasting and supporting the teams with budget management. You will be a key part of the parking management team and have responsibility for the complex task of the annual fees and charges review.

You lead a team who will provide each of the teams within parking with insights and performance reports to ensure the teams are providing a quality customer focused service.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to develop and maintain relationships with senior management and key finance officers. You will have excellent IT skills that allow you to extract and work with large complex data sets.

You will be confident working in a highly technical environment where emerging technology is used to manage and collect a variety of data to gain a detailed insight into a variety of data sets, You will be able to present complex, technical information in a way that is easy to understand for a varied audience.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
