To provide operational delivery of a range of specialist professional and technical services for the Highways Group for any of the following Group functions, ensuring that they are high quality services in compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice and guidance, delivered within a performance management regime for the functions in accordance with the Council’s Highways Asset Management Plan (HAMP), and deliver planned, reactive and routine maintenance (and improvement) of a range of highways assets including, carriageways, footways, adopted public highway, including public rights of way, street lighting & illuminated street furniture & signage, street furniture, and highways structures and bridges, footway crossovers as well as local flood risk & water management. Procurement, contract management and administration of relevant highways works & street lighting term service works contracts, as well as management and administration of relevant regional works framework contracts, and relevant professional services contracts signed up to.
