The Role:
This is a newly created role, at an exciting time for the service. After delivering significant improvement following a major review of youth services in 2020, we are now moving into the next phase of development. This includes looking at how we market our service to young people, residents, partners and stakeholders.
This role is pivotal in delivery a high quality youth and play offer in Southwark. The role will do so by the creation and dissemination of information using a range of digital tools, including managing social media accounts and editing web pages, including our new OneHub website.
The role will include working with both internal and external youth service provides to ensure that we support them in reaching out to young people across the Borough. It will also include analysing and reporting on digital projects to ensure effective communication, and identify changing trends in communication.
The role will be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver consistently excellent services and positive outcomes for young people.
About You:
The post holder will have proven experience of working in the community and/or youth related sector in a communications or marketing capacity. They will also have a Knowledge of web content management systems such as Wordpress and Druplal, and Social Media platforms including Twitter and Instagram.
Their passion and enthusiasm for the delivery of excellent service will be matched by experience of collaborative working including supporting and motivating team members and external youth providers on the effective use of digital channels.
