The role – Assistant Contract Manager 

 

As Assistant Contract Manager you will be part of the compliance team delivering services to our customers internally and externally. You will look after Mechanical Gates, Door Entry and any additional required elements, their inspection, servicing, and maintenance, as appropriate, managing contractors in ensuring our customer receive the best service. 

You will be responsible for implementation and monitoring of procedures relating to areas of responsibility across the team and business. Working with other areas to ensure that compliance is achieved, and we keep our customers safe as well as maintain their homes. You will make a huge difference in this role and drive customer satisfaction up by maintaining our equipment and more importantly keeping our customers informed. 

 

What you’ll do 

 

You will  

  • Manage several contracts delivering Door Entry, Lifts and Solar panel maintenance and servicing to name a few. 

  • Develop and grow with the support of expert consultants and team support. 

  • Monitor all blocks to ensure equipment is fully functioning at all times and customers are kept updated on any breakdowns.  

 

What you’ll need 

 

We’re looking for someone who has:  

 

  • A good understanding of the drivers for customer satisfaction when delivering maintenance services.   

  • Experience of managing contracts and delivering works in a similar environment.   

  • Demonstrable experience of cross-departmental working and collaboration to achieve shared objectives. 

  • Proven line management ability and demonstrable experience of achieving success through others. 

  • Good technical understanding and or experience of building construction. 

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a varied and challenging workload. 

  • Experience of managing consultants and assessing quality of work. 

  • Ability to convey information to others by way of written reports.
