The Head of Policy, Equalities and Communities, will play a crucial role in delivering our vision and corporate plan. Redbridge Council is delivering through three core values: prevention, collaboration, and responsibility. These are the ‘Redbridge Way’.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Redbridge Council to lead our policy, performance, and equality work. As a senior leader, you will be supporting the Strategy Directorate to develop ambitious policies, deliver meaningful engagement, effective business processes and robust corporate performance, whilst acting as a change agent to transform the council.
The successful postholder will have substantive experience of policy development and successful implementation, delivering engagement activities that lead to positive outcomes, outstanding political judgement, knowledge and understanding of equalities and poverty, and the impact on diverse communities with a track record of successfully removing barriers so local people can thrive.
Reporting to the Operational Director for Policy, Programmes and Change you will lead the Policy, Equalities and Communities team to fulfil the ambitions of our Corporate Plan .
