Brunswick Primary School seeks an aspiring leader to steer the provision of high-quality learning in Year 6, and lead the humanities team, with a focus on geography. This is a unique and exciting opportunity where you can make a lasting difference, working in partnership with the wider leadership team and governors.
About the role
We are looking for a Year Group leader with ambition, passion, and commitment - ideal candidates will:
Be an excellent and experienced teacher who understands what excellent learning looks like, in Year 6
Have strong leadership experience at middle leader level with strong academic and pastoral skills
Have skills to inspire and the experience of challenging, developing, and motivating ambitious teaching and learning
Have a tangible belief in inclusivity and the fact that all children can be supported to be successful
Understand recent changes in education, together with a deep knowledge of primary curriculum and pedagogy
Be an excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support. Having the capacity to be innovative, forward thinking, and creative with boundless energy, optimism, and enthusiasm
Be able to play a crucial role in developing, managing, and leading across a Year Group
