At The Learning Federation we believe that a child’s socio-economic background should not be a barrier to success. We passionately believe that children who attend Mead Primary school deserve the best education we can provide: we have fantastic pupils who are eager to learn and excited to turn up to school every day.
We are inviting applications for the role of Teaching Assistant to support individual pupils with complex special educational and medical needs. Your role would be to enhance the pupil's learning and life skills in a way which is individualised to their specific needs.
The successful applicant(s) will have good communication skills, be calm and patient, have a good sense of humour and be a team player with an extremely flexible attitude. You will ideally have prior experience of working with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, Physical disabilities and/or pupils with medical needs. Due to the nature of the role, you may deal with a variety of conditions, so being able to adapt your supporting methods is essential. As an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have worked with SEND pupils in a classroom environment and have a good level of education.
