We are looking to recruit a Contract Administrator (Buildings & Construction) to join our team delivering capital projects across the Borough. Projects include leisure centres, libraries, youth zones, new builds, listed buildings and community centres.
About the Role
The Contract Administrator (Buildings & Construction) role sits within the Capital Projects Team. You will be working in a small team that includes technical and project management professionals. The role includes involvement in the full project lifecycle, focusing on management of contractors on site, decision making, ensuring works are delivered in line with the agreed contract, certifying works and issuing certificates in line with the contract requirements and management of the commissioning/defect processes. You will be working with your team colleagues and internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
This role is undertaken via hybrid working, at home, in the office and on site.
You will have experience of contract administration in a construction environment and will be expected to provide technical expertise to your team colleagues and others. You will be a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to get the job done. You will have good inter-personal skills, be confident and professional and have strong contract administration experience with a focus on delivery and getting the job done.
