SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – MATERIALS 

There has never been a more exciting time to join Fusion21. We are looking for a creative and innovative Senior Project Manager with a focus on managing and successfully delivering procurement services within materials. If you are an experienced Senior Project Manager within Procurement Services and interested in new opportunities, this could be your role!

ABOUT THE JOB

You will be reporting to the Framework Manager and the role will be providing relevant advice and consultancy to Members within the scope of Fusion21’s procurement service offering. The role focuses on the management and delivery of procurement services, predominately running call-offs from a range of frameworks. You will be working on complex or high-value projects and the position requires the post holder to be able to operate independently without direct supervision. The post holder is expected to have specialist knowledge, skills, and experience in discrete fields within either the built environment or public sector procurement to support their call-off activity.

ABOUT YOU

The successful postholder will have management responsibility for operational processes, utilising team members to complete discrete tasks, activities, and elements of procurement activity. You will provide mentoring and support to team members, develop and nurture operational relationships with members to understand their requirements, as well as undertake call-off and contract activity and review the work of others to ensure that projects represent the Members’ needs and appropriately manage risk. You will understand and recognise how markets operate, are priceable and are capable of being evaluated, ensuring customer outcomes are achieved and that contracts represent value for money and articulate our offer in such a way that best meets the need of the Member and Fusion21. You will have experience with indirect categories of spend, knowledge of building products, such as general build, electrical, plumbing and heating would be preferable but not essential.

Ideally, you will have experience within the public sector and any specific experience with the supply of goods/materials for housing sector repairs and maintenance would be preferable as well as holding or working towards a CIPS Level 6, Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
