We're looking to recruit a part time Housing Enabling Officer based in the Strategic Housing & Development Team, its a small team with a focus on supporting and enabling the delivery of affordable housing for Brighton and Hove.

About the role

Working with planning services, developers, Registered Providers and other housing providers such as Community Land Trusts your focus will be on increasing affordable housing delivery through partnership working and through applying housing and planning policies.  Candidates should have extensive knowledge of the planning process and affordable housing policy from a national to a local level.  Candidates should have experience in reviewing S106 agreements working closely with solicitors.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
