What you'll do
As Optivo’s Management Accountant, you’ll provide a financial service working alongside the Finance Manager and 3 other members of the Development Finance Team.
You’ll be an experienced accountant who works well as part of a team. You’ll be preparing the management accounts on a monthly basis and delivering this information to the relevant development directors. You will need to build and maintain relationships with these directors and work alongside them to ensure they have a good understanding of the budget they are responsible for.
You will be given the flexibility of working from home 3 days a week, and the remaining 2 days onsite.
What you’ll need
The Management Accountant will have a good standard of written communication, advanced excel skills, experience using Asset 4000 & SDS sequel, a strong analytical approach and experience working in a Development Finance Team.
You’ll have strong accountancy experience, knowledge of UK social housing and development experience. You’ll hold a professional qualification in accounting and be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or be actively studying towards this.
