Project and Innovation Manager RBKC593034

Interview date: Week commencing 5th September 2022

Help deliver 21st century housing management services.

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, we have embarked on a community recovery programme across the Lancaster West Estate.  The Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team provides holistic housing management services for around 1,000 properties.

As part of this programme, we are now in the process of refurbishing every home to a high standard, with works led and co-designed by residents. In creating a ‘model’ estate for the 21st century, one of our aspirations is to ensure all homes are carbon-neutral by 2030.

The Role:

As our Project and Innovation Manager, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation across a range of housing, major works, and community service programmes.

You will develop structures and cultures that embrace innovation and improvements, using a range of mechanisms, tools and processes. This will mean embracing and promoting an agile culture that encourages teams to deliver change quickly and responsively, with a robust approach that provide assurance for residents and the wider council.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

Ambitious to set new standards within a high-profile social housing project, you’ll be innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking in your approach. You will need experience of service improvement, including the use of ICT and exposure to principles such as Agile and Lean. You should be able to provide evidence of delivering improvements in efficiency, working processes and customer experience. Highly organised with excellent communication skills, you’ll be ready to influence, negotiate and advocate for positive change.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s alone will not be considered for this role.
