Job introduction

The Stores Officer will manage the acquisition and supply equipment needs of Cityclean, Cityparks, Fleet, Hollingdean Depot, Staff Agencies, and other Council Departments.

The post-holder will issue equipment, supplies and consumables, process orders, take delivery of, manage, issue and record supplies, keeping detailed records to enable strict control of stock and associated costs and ensure availability of supplies.

The post holder will work with contracted suppliers, internal and external and keep data on all costings associated with purchasing of goods, track supplier pricing to make the most cost-effective decision when purchasing.

About the role

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
