The role of the Digital Officer is to support excellent digital service delivery within Customer Services and across the council.
Working within a team, you will help make digital services the preferred choice for customers.
As part of the role you will continue to drive channel shift by making effective on-line journeys, building, editing and reviewing on-line forms and web content.
You will actively seek and apply knowledge of developments and trends in web, digital technology and working practices to deliver solutions.
You will develop end to end processes with our business and service partners and build and analyse reports to ensure continuous improvement.
This is a role made up of many parts that are both challenging and rewarding as you help us deliver the best possible online experiences for our customers.
Along with proven experience of all standard IT. packages, you will have experience of creating and editing web pages, integrated web forms and online facilities.
You will also have demonstrable experience of challenging the status quo and making and effecting recommendations for improvement along with a full understanding and working knowledge of implementing and improving digital principles, mobile applications, customer touch points, the customer journey and end-to-end business processes to maximise efficiency.
Experience of working with the Jadu Continuum CMS, Firmstep forms, experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Siteimprove and Adobe writer would be desirable.
