LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Salary: Scale 2, pt 3-4

Actual Salary: £15,491 - £15,773  per annum

Hours: 30 hpw x 39 wpy, 8.30am-3pm (with 30 minutes lunch)

Permanent position starting September 2022

 

The Royal Liberty School where “pupils are well behaved, respectful and courteous” and “parents value the sense of community, which is palpable throughout the school” (OFSTED February 2019).

A  Learning Support Assistant is required for a September start. The work will involve supporting students in a small Nurture Group, providing in class support and delivering interventions. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, flexible and organised who enjoys working with young people. Someone with an ELSA qualification or the willingness to complete an ELSA qualification is highly desirable. Experience with SEMH is also essential.

We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust.

Royal Liberty School is a small comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys, located close to Gidea Park Station.  We pride ourselves on our strong Sense of community and the excellent behaviour of the students.
